Sugar skull on a Day of the Dead altar

Valley Academy's Spanish Class just celebrated Dia de Muertos! On November 1, the hispanic cultures celebrate he lives of children who have past away. Then on November 2, they celebrate the lives of older people who have passed on. This is a fun tradition to keep the memories of loved ones alive.

Valley had this beautiful display where people could post photos of their loved ones that had past on. Students also made sugar skulls and decorated them to honor the dead. Watch the video here.
