2024-2025 Plan
The School Land Trust Committee (SLT) has voted unanimously to spend the allotted budget of $85,202.39 towards increasing student success in mathematics. The goal and plan is to pay for a math specialist to increase student academic scores in grades K-5 by 5% before May 24, 2025. The specialist’s salary, supplies, and technology will be paid. Any extra allotment or unspent budget will be used to purchase student technology to be used while working with the specialist, or digital citizenship training for students (no more than $1000 as allowed under Subsection 53G-7-1202(3)(a)(iii)), or student incentives for the math specialist to use on students (no more than $6000 as per Subsection 53G-7-1202(1)(d)).
This SLT Plan was approved by the Valley Academy Board of Directors in their meeting held on March 7, 2024.

2020-2021 SLT Plan
The final report for the SLT 2020-21 school year is as follows:
On May 31, 2021 Student proficiency is as follows: Language Arts is 33% which increased by 9% from 24% and our goal was 47%. We did not reach the goal we set, but we did increase and are still monitoring the data. Mathematics is 26% which increased by 4% from 22% and our goal was 47%. Science is 38% which increased by 15% from 23% and our goal was 51% No data is still available for the student growth scores. Even though Valley did not meet it's goals there was an increase in each subject level for proficiency.
